A new week is upon us and the newsletter has taken a slightly new format, I’ve decided to condense the lists and make them more curated. With so many things happening in the area, these are the ones that I feel are truly the most exciting.

Spring Equinox Foraging & Supper Club — OmVed Gardens, Highgate (N6) Celebrate the arrival of spring at Highgate's hidden garden. The evening includes a three-course plant-based feast using wild and native ingredients foraged directly from the three-acre biophilic site.

Scarecrow (1973) — The Vine, (NW5) Tufnell Park Film Club screens this "New Hollywood" masterpiece starring Gene Hackman and Al Pacino. A gritty, soulful road movie that won the Palme d'Or, shown in the atmospheric upstairs room of this local favorite.

The Beatles Piano Recital — Burgh House, Hampstead (NW3) Experience the Fab Four’s catalogue reimagined as intricate classical piano arrangements. Performed in the historic, wood-panelled Music Room, this one-off recital offers a sophisticated take on pop's most iconic melodies.

Amongst the Trees and Terraces — Burgh House, Hampstead (NW3) A major exhibition celebrating the work of Donald Towner, who lived on Church Row for nearly 60 years. His paintings capture the timeless elegance of Hampstead alongside the "grit" of post-war London.

While They Were Waiting — Upstairs at the Gatehouse, N6 A new play by Cassie Catchpole that explores the intricate, overlapping lives and stories of people sharing a hospital waiting room. Tue 24 Mar – Sat 28 Mar (19:30), Sun 29 Mar (18:30). LINK
C&MP: Comedy & Music Party — Circle & Star Theatre, Hampstead (NW3) Hosted by Debra Tammer, this high-energy night features headliner Hal Cruttenden (Live at the Apollo) and The Traitors winner Hannah Byczkowski. Expect top-tier stand-up mixed with live musical improvisation in an intimate 55-seat setting.

Jon Udry Is Having a Ball — Jacksons Lane , N6 A one-man show from the award-winning juggler and comedian that blends world-class dexterity with sharp stand-up. Handmade in Highgate: Spring Fair — Highgate Literary & Scientific Institution, Highgate (N6) A curated boutique fair featuring over 30 of the UK's most talented designers and makers. From ceramics to bespoke jewellery, it’s a premier event for discovering high-quality craftsmanship in the heart of the village.

Alex Garnett & Jamie Safir — Hampstead Jazz Club, Hampstead (NW3) A powerhouse pairing of saxophonist Alex Garnett (a staple of the London scene) and pianist Jamie Safir. Expect a night of sophisticated, hard-swinging jazz standards in the atmospheric basement of the Duke of Hamilton.

Youth Circus Showcase: Spin the Seasons — Jacksons Lane, Highgate (N6) The next generation of circus talent takes over Highgate’s premier circus space. A high-energy performance featuring acrobatics, aerial skills, and juggling, themed around the changing cycles of the year.
